For many years 12 to 24 men attended these outings; however, in later years several wives also attended. We have been extremely satisfied with all of the arrangements. Jan has consistently consulted us regarding golf course requests and hotel arrangements, having several lodging choices. He has always accommodated dates requested, a spring and fall trip yearly. From start to finish, Jan Daale has helped to create wonderful memories and an exceptional experience golfing Cape Cod. Each September for the past 18 years, our group has traveled to the Heritage House in Hyannis for our annual four-day golf trip. We have had as little as 12 participants and as many as 24, yet despite the size of our group, Jan Daale has made our experience enjoyable and effortless.
Booking is easy. We contact Jan with what we are planning early in the year and he takes care of the rest. It is clear that over the years, Jan has developed many contacts and a reputation of respect with the courses throughout the Cape. He is consistently able to provide us with the courses and tee times we prefer, despite the high volume of other golfers also down the Cape at the same time.
Cape Cod is especially beautiful in September and throughout the years, our group has been blessed with amazing weather, but in the event of any inclement weather, Jan has been able to step up. He understands that our group has several members who are becoming elderly or require a cart and handicap flag to play. When courses have not cancelled, yet have also not allowed carts out due to the weather, we have been able to contact Jan and within minutes, he has either moved us to another course that is more accommodating or has been able to provide us a refund. This is a testament to not only to the vast network of relationships and respect he has established down the Cape, but also to the compassion and commitment he has devoted to our group.
In addition to the golf, Jan is concerned about making sure our entire experience is enjoyable. At the hotel, Jan works hard to make sure that rooms are always adjacent to each other and are close to the pool and hot tub. He is mindful to keep the price of packages low and will often include complimentary breakfasts and other perks, as well.
Our group would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the great work and assistance of Jan Daale throughout the years and express our sincerest thanks. He is more than just a voice over the phone or a handshake and a friendly smile when we arrive each year. He has become a friend. Thank you, Jan, for a job well-done over the past 18 years!
